Can you edit my old website or do you need to start from scratch?

We can often update your existing website when only minor enhancements are needed, such as content updates and search engine optimization. In fact, if you have an existing site, you may not need any updates to it, but just need some Internet marketing tips and tricks to improve your presence on the Internet or to capture warm leads.

If your website is pretty old, chances are the layout of your pages was designed using lots of "tables," which may have a negative impact on performance. You could be losing potential customers if your website is not shown quick enough. It may at times be best to re-create a website from scratch using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to improve performance and your website visitor's experience.

Do you host websites?

No, we are not a hosting company and do not host websites ourselves. There are many good hosting companies we recommend if you do not already have a web hosting company. A web hosting company's core competency is in managing web servers and Internet access so you can achieve the best possible performance and uptime for your website.

However, a hosting company's core competency does not include Internet marketing to promote your web business, nor do they want to be involved with that aspect. Unfortunately it does not do a whole lot of good to have a highly reliable, high performing website that just collects a lot of Internet dust. This is where High Plains Marketing comes in. We will turn the website that is just sitting on a server at the host provider into a business tool.

The cost of hosting your website is separate from our services and typically runs between $90-$150 a year. We will register your domain name and load your website onto the hosting provider's platform for you.

How long does it take to create a website to promote my website?

If your website needs are not terribly complex and you provide the content, a small business website can be online usually within 5 to 7 business days.

Internet marketing tasks such as website analysis, keyword research, pay-per-click advertising, search engine submission, page optimization can usually be done in a couple of business days.

Is payment due before my site is completed?

No. We do generally ask for 25% up front for us to start. The remaining payment is then due 30-days after completion of your Internet marketing project.

What happens when I want to update my site?

Our rates for updates and maintenance to existing web pages are $20.00 an hour. We keep time sheets and you are billed for the actual time spent (15 minute minimum) on the updates. And NO waiting for weeks to have your site updated! 99% of update requests are done within 48 hours.

Estimates will be given for new web page additions, or other Internet marketing promotions.

Though we are able to help you improve your web business 98% of the time, sometimes our efforts just do not work-either due to extremely strong competition for your product or service in the marketplace, or your product or service falls into a very narrow niche market.
